
Yesenia Cardoza graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Legal Studies in 2006. After graduation, Yesenia worked at a criminal defense firm as a legal clerk in downtown Los Angeles for four years. Thereafter, she joined an employment law firm as a legal clerk for approximately two years before going to Southwestern Law School.
At Southwestern, Yesenia participated in the law school clinical programs as an intern for the Children’s Rights Clinic and Immigration Law Clinic helping low income families with their legal matters on a pro-bono basis. Yesenia also worked a summer at Innocence Matters, a non-profit organization dedicated to help release the wrongfully convicted.
After law school, Yesenia joined a personal injury law firm where she represented children who were victims sexual abuse against various school districts, as well as personal injury matters. She joined Milon Pluas LLP in May of 2018.
Yesenia is a current member of the California Employment Lawyers Association.
Yesenia is also fluent in Spanish.
