Joshua Milon
Joshua graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a double major in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting and Psychology. After graduation, Joshua worked for a few years as a financial analyst before going to Law School at Southwestern in Los Angeles.
At Southwestern, Joshua was an Associate Editor for the Journal of Law and Trade in the Americas and attended the summer abroad program in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon graduation, he was offered an associate position for an insurance defense firm in downtown Los Angeles. At this firm, Joshua gained valuable experience in defending employment, auto accident and premise liability lawsuits.
Desiring to have more direct contact with indivuals, Joshua moved on to work for a small firm where he dealt with clients facing many different legal issues. In December of 2007, Joshua decided to branch out on his own and start the Law Offices of Joshua Milon where he has handled a variety of cases including sexual harassment cases, disability discrimination, family status discrimination, wage & hour law, etc.
In late 2013, Joshua Milon teamed up with fellow employment attorney Angel Pluas and started Milon Pluas LLP.
Joshua is current a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association.
Angel Pluas
Angel Pluas attended Cal Poly Pomona and then the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. While at UCLA, Angel was the co-chair of La Raza and a Managing Editor of the Chicano Latino Law Review.
After law school, Angel worked for for years at an employment firm where he tried numerous employment and civil rights cases. Angel went on to work for another successful employment law firm where he successfully represented numerous clients in many different types of cases including sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, sexual assault, age discrimination, wage & hour, etc.
Later, Angel formed his own law firm and then teamed with long-time friend and co-worker Joshua Milon to form Milon Pluas LLP.
Born in Ecuador, Angel is fluent in Spanish.
