Joshua graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a double major in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting and Psychology. After graduation, Joshua worked for a few years as a financial analyst before going to Law School at Southwestern in Los Angeles.
At Southwestern, Joshua was an Associate Editor for the Journal of Law and Trade in the Americas and attended the summer abroad program in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon graduation, he was offered an associate position for an insurance defense firm in downtown Los Angeles. At this firm, Joshua gained valuable experience in defending employment, auto accident and premise liability lawsuits.
Desiring to have more direct contact with individuals, Joshua moved on to work for a small firm where he dealt with clients facing many different legal issues. In December of 2007, Joshua decided to branch out on his own and start the Law Offices of Joshua Milon where he has handled a variety of cases including sexual harassment cases, disability discrimination, family status discrimination, wage & hour law, etc.
In late 2013, Joshua Milon teamed up with fellow employment attorney Angel Pluas and started Milon Pluas LLP.
Joshua is current a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association.
